AnniFilmss is our Bristol-based, female-run, animation studio.

Coming from a collective of young independent filmmakers, Barri Films, we found our niche.

Our collaboration of two started as a bigger-than-life friendship and turned into an unexpected yin-yang working relationship.

We are both fascinated by the raw, gritty and janky world of stop motion animation. Our stories are often inspired by our mutual love of music, comedy and the slightly seedy underbelly of the world.

This combination of specific ingredients produces off-the-cuff characters in a surreal world, which helps us process the madness that surrounds us all.
